Hyperlink 5
Bremen - Ruhr
Hyperlink 5 establishes a direct connection between the Hyperlink hydrogen network and GET H2, in other words, between the potential production sites in northern Germany and the industrial centres in the Ruhr. Conversion of a former natural gas pipeline to a hydrogen pipeline will unite two of the first large hydrogen systems. This gives network users access to the hydrogen storage facilities in northern and western Germany, to imported hydrogen from Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, and to domestic hydrogen production sites.
